Premier League club, Manchester City banned from signing academy players

Manchester City have also been fined £300,000 after breaching Premier League transfer rules.
The Premier League side were City were found guilty of approaching the family of two young players who were registered with other clubs.

Because of the ban, Manchester City will not be able to sign any player from a Premier League or EFL club in the previous 18 months.

"Manchester City will pay a fine of £300,000 and will be prohibited from registering any Academy players in the Under 10 to Under 18 age range who have been registered with a Premier League or EFL club in the preceding 18 months," a part of Premier League statement on the ban reads.
The ban kicks off from June 30, 2018 but only a part of it will come into effect if Manchester City commits the same offence.
The Premier League in April started the investigation of three signing by Manchester City academy.
The players include an 11-year-old Everton midfielder and a 15-year-old from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
